This year's rendition brings back familiar Texas varieties such as the floral Muscat Blanc and the East Texas champion, Blanc du Bois, coming together to create the intense tropical-floral aromas with a dry, citrus palate that we've come to treasure.
To coax complexity and boost the body, the Sauvignon Blanc grapes in this blend were used to develop their nutty, honeyed characters, whilst the Muscat Blanc and Malvasia Bianca grapes were fermented altogether to share their wide array of lemon, jasmine, and stoney aromas. Blanc du Bois rounds out this refreshing sipper with its unique scents of grass and lime zest. The woman for whom this wine was named put her faith in all-Texas grapes and those growing them, and we're pleased to offer a wine that was harvested from three corners of it, from one of the furthest vineyards in West Texas to one of the furthest East, and from the grand Texas High Plains.
