4. Operational and Marketing Communications

JMP Wines may contact you in response to:

  • A Contact Sales submission
  • A Trade Account request
  • A Reorder request
  • A general enquiry
  • A question about a current or prospective business relationship
  • An order, delivery, payment, or account matter

These communications are operational and related to the request you submitted.

Marketing communications are separate. If the website offers an optional marketing checkbox, it will be:

  • Separate from required operational consent
  • Optional
  • Unchecked by default
  • Not required to submit a business enquiry

If you subscribe to marketing communications, you may unsubscribe at any time through the unsubscribe mechanism included in the message or by contacting info@jmpwines.com.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent JMP Wines from sending necessary operational, account, order, or relationship communications.

5. Website Operation, Forms, and Operational Email (Lovable)

JMP Wines uses Lovable to operate the website, process website forms, apply server-side validation and security controls, and deliver operational form notifications to JMP Wines.

When you submit a form, the information may be processed through Lovable and its infrastructure providers before being delivered to JMP Wines at info@jmpwines.com.

Form submissions are used to respond to the specific request submitted. They are not automatically added to Klaviyo for marketing unless the person separately provides marketing consent.

6. Marketing Communications (Klaviyo)

JMP Wines uses Klaviyo to manage optional marketing subscriptions and send portfolio updates, product announcements, trade news, and related marketing communications.

We may provide Klaviyo with information such as your name, business name, email address, marketing-consent status, subscription source, and email engagement information where tracking is enabled.

Submitting a Contact Sales, Trade Account, or Reorder form does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.

You will be added to marketing communications only when you separately request or consent to receive them. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in a marketing email or by contacting info@jmpwines.com.

Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent JMP Wines from sending necessary communications concerning an enquiry, account, requested order, invoice, delivery, or existing business relationship.

7. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to service providers that assist with operating the website, delivering communications, and responding to business enquiries, including:

  • Website, hosting, forms, and operational email providers
  • Marketing automation and marketing email providers
  • Spam-prevention and website-security providers
  • Shopify and related operational systems
  • Information-technology and website-support providers
  • Professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, and insurers

These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services, subject to their contractual obligations and applicable law.

8. Shopify and Business Account Records

JMP Wines uses Shopify as the operational system of record for product records, approved business customers, manually created orders, invoices, and related account administration.

The public website catalogue is intended to display approved product information without public prices, inventory quantities, or consumer checkout functionality.

If a trade-account request is approved or a business relationship develops, JMP Wines may manually enter or transfer relevant business contact information into Shopify or another approved operational system to:

  • Create or maintain a business account
  • Prepare an order or draft order
  • Issue an invoice
  • Manage communications
  • Coordinate delivery
  • Maintain legally required business records

A website form submission does not automatically create a Shopify customer or order.

9. Cookies and Tracking

The website may use essential technologies required for hosting, security, form processing, spam prevention, and reliable operation.

At initial launch, JMP Wines does not intend to activate general website analytics or non-essential behavioral tracking.

Klaviyo onsite tracking, behavioral profiling, and non-essential marketing cookies will remain disabled unless JMP Wines later approves them and updates this Privacy Policy and any required consent controls.

Marketing emails sent through Klaviyo may contain technologies that measure delivery, opens, clicks, and engagement where those features are enabled. Recipients may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect the operation of some website features.
